Over 600 km of diverse cycle paths invite you to explore South Tyrol. Cycling and mountain biking are some of the most popular summer activities in the Isarco Valley.
Aica is located directly at the interface of the various Isarco Valley and the Pusteria Valley bicycle routes. This makes Aica an ideal starting point for cycling trips of every kind. Along the routes, there are many points to rent bicycles and to combine bike and railway transport. The practical Train & Bike combination ticket allows families to enjoy a relaxed cycling holiday in South Tyrol while also avoiding difficult climbs. With the bikemobil Card, cyclists can use all public transport in South Tyrol, including bicycle rental at favorable cost.
The Isarco Valley offers a lot of trails for mountain bikers. Routes of varying difficulty lead either through the lower mountain range, along sunny Alpine plateaus, or even up to high Alpine paths and mountain passes amidst a stunning landscape. The Single Trail on the Plose promises fun and flow for everybody. The trail is challenging for newcomers and with its many curves and turns also exciting for bike-experts. The 6.6 km long track is said to be particularly "flowly" and leads from the top station at 2,050 meters to the valley station.
Among the favorite routes there is the one of Pusteria Valley cycle path also called "Pusterbike"
The approximately 105 km long tour leads along the entire Pusteria Valley to Lienz in Austria. The paved cycle path is also suitable for leisure cyclists and families.
The Isarco Valley Bicycle Route offers easy leisurely cycling, great fun for families and sports enthusiasts alike. The route begins at the Brennero Pass and leads through Alta Vall'Isarco and the Isarco Valley past the cities of Vipiteno, Bressanone and Chiusa, coming to an end in Bolzano. The 102 km long tour can be traveled in sections.
