Regardless of the time of the year, our region is always worth a visit.

In the spring you will be welcome in Isarco Valley with a sea of flowers. The apple blossom transforms the landscape into a white-light pink idyll.

In the summer months, crystal clear mountain lakes and outdoor swimming pools invite for unlimited water fun. Great refreshment on hot summer days is offered by the indoor pool "Alpinpool" in Maranza or swimming pool "Balneum" in Vipiteno. Only a few kilometers away from Aica is the "Acquarena" water world of Bressanone, with plenty of indoor and outdoor swimming pools. South Tyrol is a hiking paradise. The surrounding villages, and the Gitschberg-Jochtal region of alpine pastures, the alpine pastures of Rodengo and Villandro, Plose and Val di Funes, and the Dolomites of course await you for extended walks and hikes. Thrill seekers may take part in a rafting trip on the Isarco River or glide silently through the air with a paraglider.

Each year at the beginning of October, the Törggelen season begins in South Tyrol. Young and old come together in wine taverns and guesthouses to enjoy traditional meat platters with dumplings and smoked meat, roasted chestnuts, and the first new wine, the "Sußer".

In winter, varied ski areas and fast connections make Aica the perfect starting point for sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs. The neighboring Gitschberg–Jochtal and Plose-Bressanone ski areas ensure great fun on well-groomed slopes, traditional cottages, and après-ski clubs. The ski bus will take you to the Plose ski area, the local mountain of Bressanone, or to the Gitschberg–Jochtal ski area at the entrance of the Pusteria Valley. In Isarco Valley, more than 40 natural sledging runs of varying length and difficulty levels are ready to offer great, snowy thrills. The Plose ski resort offers an exciting tobogganing special: "Rudi Run", the longest toboggan run in South Tyrol. Many of the well-marked winter hiking trails, mountain routes and secluded paths offer spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and of the Dolomites. Cross country skiing during your winter holiday can be really enchanting.

The pleasant Christmas markets from the end of November to the beginning of January are an important crow puller during the advent in South Tyrol. Bolzano, Merano, Bressanone, Brunico and Vipiteno are the cities in which you can find the traditional markets.
